Bid Process and Venue Selection
Provide us with your meeting specifications and we will obtain proposals from our hotels and meeting venues directly to you or compiled in a formal bid book. Our bureau staff can assist in bid presentation to your board of directors, site committee or general membership (for multiple hotel meetings). Let us schedule and accompany you on site inspections to give you a true feel for Las Cruces hospitality.

Off-site Activities

Facilities & Venues

Las Cruces hotels offer over 128,000 square feet of meeting space and over 3,000 sleeping rooms. Offsite properties such as New Mexico State University and the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum also offer over 40,000 square feet of meeting space.  And with over 350 days of sunshine a year, Las Cruces is the perfect destination to plan your next meeting… no matter what time of year it is.

Las Cruces Convention Center

The LEED certified center is 55,000 square feet with just over 30,000 square feet of meeting space. The facility features a 14,500 square foot exhibition hall as well as a 9,000 square foot ballroom. There are 10 break-out rooms totaling over 6,660 square feet. Additionally, there is over 5,000 square feet of outdoor space and 2,000 square feet of indoor pre-function space.

Does Las Cruces have a convention center?
Yes, we do.  The brand new state-of-the-art LEED gold certified convention center officially opened on December 1, 2010.  The center has hosted hundreds of events ranging from 10 to 2,000 attendees.  It offers over 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, in-house customized catering, and free on-site parking.
Is the convention center union or non-union?
The Las Cruces Convention Center is non-union.

What time of the year would I get the best hotel rate for a conference in Las Cruces?
Las Cruces is an affordable destination year-round.  However, if you book your conference December through February or June through August, chances are you will get better rates.
