RGT Classic Films: “Gone with the Wind”

Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn!
Think you’ve seen all the good classics?
November’s classic film at the Rio Grande Theatre is “Gone with the Wind”, the 1939 American epic historical romance film adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s 1936 novel. Set in the American South against the backdrop of the Civil War and Reconstruction era, Gone with the Wind follows Scarlett O’Hara, the strong-willed daughter of a Georgia plantation owner, from her romantic pursuit of Ashley Wilkes to her marriage to Rhett Butler.
Whether you’re new to the film or can quote every line, there’s just something special about seeing it on the big screen. Join the fun at the Rio Grande Theatre this November and enjoy concessions like snacks, refreshments, beer, wine and spirits.
