Sign up for the Explore to Live Weekend before August 11, 2020 for a nightly rate of $99 at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. (Registration for Explore to Live Weekend required to receive hotel reservation code.)

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception typically take place on a Friday from 5–7 p.m. in Las Cruces, NM at Azul Ultra Lounge located in Hotel Encanto at 705 S Telshor Blvd.

 

Weekend Activities

Saturday and Sunday are unscheduled so that guests can explore the community and its many attractions.

Dine al fresco at one our many Mexican restaurants serving world-famous Hatch green chile grown here in the valley, learn about local agriculture at the only research-based international Chile Pepper Institute in the world, and hike one of our many areas: Dripping Springs natural area, Aguirre Springs, the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park, or the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park. If you aren’t the outdoors-type, you can explore the Arts & Cultural District downtown—catch a film or musical performance, grab a bite or a brew, and check out one of the many museums and art galleries downtown.

Take full advantage of your visit to Las Cruces by taking time to enjoy Diez y seis de Septiembre in Historic Mesilla, one of the many cultural festivals held throughout the year. Explore a full list of annual events.

What is the cost of the Explore to Live Weekend?

The only cost is related to your own personal travel, and that of lodging which is a $99/night rate + tax at Hotel Encanto. To qualify for the program, guests book their own 3-night stay at Hotel Encanto

 

Can I sign up for the Explore to Live weekend if I am not a U.S. resident?

The Explore to Live Weekend is not an immigration or work visa program. Citizens of foreign countries interested in traveling, living or working in Las Cruces, New Mexico need to secure the appropriate visa from the U.S. State Department. You can find more information here.
