This annual Las Cruces event celebrates the visual, literary, and performing arts in our region. The Las Cruces Museums have several exhibits and events that add to this celebration. All four City museums will be open for the Downtown Arts Ramble from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, with three of the museums opening new exhibits.
The Museum of Art will host Retooled: Highlights from the Hechinger Collection organized by International Arts & Artists, Washington, D.C.
The Branigan Cultural Center introduces Issei and Beyond: The Nakayama Family’s Journey in the Mesilla Valley and Hillsboro Faces: A Collection of Portraits.
The Las Cruces Railroad Museum will open For the Love of Railroad Architecture, an exhibit from the New Mexico Watercolor Society Southern Chapter.
In addition to these exhibits, there will be a number of art programs during “For the Love of Art” Month including live jazz music during the Arts Ramble, poetry readings, ukulele and trombone concerts, a dance troupe performance, Japanese silk painting, a quilting talk, and more!
