Join us for a demonstration of watercolor pencil technique with award winning artist and longtime teacher Marie Siegrist, NMWS.

Watercolor pencils are a wonderful addition to a watercolorist’s “tool” kit. They are versatile in the studio and handy for field
work or travel when they only require paper, a couple of brushes and a small cup for water.

They can be used as an element in a watercolor painting, and for cleaning up edges. They can be used over a pen and ink or graphite drawing, or they can be used as a stand-alone medium to make a complete painting. Most importantly they are “just plain fun” to use!
