Dig in the Dirt: Basics of Archaeology

Join Fort Selden Historic Site’s manager, Dr. Rhonda Dass, at the first installment of this new workshop series. At Basics of Archaeology, join us in the field at Fort Selden to learn the basic methodologies of archaeology and how they are used on our Historic Sites. After we all know why we tell you not to pick up artifacts on the trails, we will spend our time out in the dirt applying some of the commonly used methods to the corral area. Dress for the weather!
