Ring in May at Cinco de Mayo
In Southern New Mexico, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo the right way! Take part in the traditional Mexican fiesta honoring Mexico’s second revolution in historic Old Mesilla. Mesilla’s annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta includes live Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi performances, art & crafts vendors, games and traditional Mexican food –plus rides, a greased pole climb and piñatas for kids!

Honor Tradition at the Blessing of the Fields
Experience a piece of local history at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum’s 18th annual Blessing of the Fields! Held each year in honor of San Ysidro, the patron saint of farmers, the historic and colorful procession around the museum blesses the animals, plants, acequia and fresh-baked bread; the museum will also hold a plant sale as part of the festivities. Strum with the Best at Ukefest
Sharpen your ukulele skills at Southern New Mexico’s only ukulele festival!
