The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum is a 47-acre interactive state museum that explores the 3,000-year history of farming and ranching in New Mexico. The facility has demonstrations, animals, and a gift shop & snack bar. Open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and $2 for children 5 to 17. (575) 522-4100. www.frhm.org
